How do I create an Event?

Creating an event is simple, after you Create an Account visit our Event Creation Page and fill in as much information about your event as possible. Completed events with custom header images attract more attendees.

What does it cost to create an event?

Absolutely nothing! Creating an event is completely free.

How do I edit my event?

To edit your event visit your Events Dashboard to find a list of all of your current and past events. Find the event you wish to edit and click the ‘edit’ button below the title of that event.

Can I sell tickets? What does that cost?

Yes you can! You can sell as many tickets and ticket types as you need to for your event. In terms of cost, we charge absolutely nothing! No convenience or hidden service fees.

Note: In order to accept payment for ticket sales you will need to add your PayPal account email address to your Victus account. Currently we only work with PayPal and their fees still apply to ticket sales.

How do you make money?

Right now we’re testing our platform and allowing people like you to use it for free, we’re focused on building a great platform over racking in the cash.

Do you sponsor events or teams?

We do! Send information on your event or team and sponsorship options to sponsorships@victus.gg. We’ll review it and get back to you.

XP Points FAQs

How does XP work?

XP is awarded to users who complete certain tasks on the website such as creating an event or purchasing a paid-for event ticket.

XP is awarded at no extra cost to either the organizer or event ticket buyer.

How can I earn more XP?

  • Create an event (+400 XP)
  • Purchase a paid ticket (+200 XP)
  • Refer a friend (+100 XP)
  • Log in daily (+10 XP)
  • Level up to earn more XP; earn +5% more XP after reaching level 10 and +10% more when you reach level 20.

Additionally, XP can be earned by participating in Victus.gg contests. We will have additional ways to earn XP in the near future.

Refund FAQs

How do I get a refund?

At this time all refunds are handled by the Victus.gg team based on the refund policy set by the event organizer – we are bound by their terms. To request a refund please send our support team a message.

Gamer / Attendee FAQs

How do I edit my Avatar?

In your Account Dashboard, click the “Event Profile” tab. In that tab you’ll be given the option to upload a custom avatar for your account.

What does it cost to attend an event or participate in a tournament?

Prices are set by event organizers and they can set any amount they like for their events.

How do I find events?

You can find a list of all upcoming events on our Event Discovery Page. We also provide filters to help you find events in your immediate area, by event type, game, date, and much more to help you find exactly what you’re looking for.

Pricing FAQs

Does free really mean free?

Yes it does! We’re not here to gouge you with hidden fees, service fees, convenience fees, e-co friendly fees, and whatever other fees they come up with next.

When will I get paid?

With PayPal, you will receive your funds 5-7 business days after a successful transaction has been completed.

What does it cost to get started?

Creating an account and submitting an event are completely free. There are no monthly or set up fees. We only charge fees after an attendee successfully purchases a paid ticket.

What currencies are available?

Currently we only support the U.S. Dollar (USD), but are rapidly expanding our offerings.

What is PayPal?

PayPal is a simple and secure way to accept online credit and debit card payments. It is trusted by over 195 million online merchants including Fortune 500 companies. PayPal ensures that you will receive your funds quickly and without hassle. To learn more about PayPal visit their official website PayPal.com.

What about credit card processing?

We use PayPal to handle all forms of credit and debit card processing on Victus.gg. They charge a standard fee of 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction. All money transactions are handled securely by them.

Am I required to use PayPal?

Yes, in order to receive funds for selling tickets you must add your PayPal email address to your Victus.gg account. Visit your Payment Options page to update your PayPal email address.

We plan to implement other payment gateways in the near future.

What credit cards are accepted?

All major credit cards including: American Express, Visa, MasterCard and Discover.

Can I pass the fee onto the attendee?

Not at this time. In the near future we will Organizers to either absorb the fee or pass it onto the buyer.

What are third party credit card fees?

PayPal charges 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction.
